Tony Michael Pickett, age 48, died at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 8, 2012.
Tony was the son of Merrill William and Jolene Francia (Ashford) Pickett, he was born on January 4, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tony was in the graduating class of 1982 from Nathan Hale High School; and attended Tulsa Junior College. Tony worked as a pressman for CBI Printing. He enjoyed reading his bible, playing the guitar and scuba diving.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two sisters Monica Russell and her husband Donald of Grove, Oklahoma and Pamela Childers and her husband Dan of Jenks .
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 Grove Christian Center in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Gary Howard officiating. Tony will be laid to rest in the Rolston Cemetery. Tony and I learned to play alot of guitar licks together back @ Skelly Jr. High. We were always cracking jokes with each other. Does anyone know how Tony passed away? His soulful humor will be forever missed.

Hi Brian, Tony had heart complications. I remember playing guitar lickes with you guys. I remember playing saxophone and guitars with Tony a lot. We spent a lot of time together in the 8th grade. The news of his death was quite shocking.
